From Consultant to free guide
After a consulting career spanning more than 30 years, I reached a point where many people would choose to step away from business entirely and I did for a couple of restful years. Then, after many legacy clients continually asking for help, I decided to create WOSO-GaMI.
Throughout my career, I had the privilege of working with businesses of all sizes, helping owners, directors, and managers navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. One lesson became clear time and again: many business owners do not necessarily need complex consultancy. Often, they simply need a trusted sounding board, practical guidance, or an introduction to the right person.

Over the years, I found that some of the most valuable support I could provide came from sharing experience, offering perspective, discussing problems, and connecting people with the expertise they needed. Those conversations frequently saved businesses time, money, and unnecessary frustration. If WOSO-GaMI can help you move one step closer to finding the right answer, then it has achieved its purpose.

Following my retirement from active consulting, I wanted to continue offering that support in a way that remained accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises. WOSO-GaMI was created to do exactly that.
The service is intentionally simple. It is offered without charge, obligation, or commitment. My aim is not to tell business owners what they must do, but to help them explore options, ask the right questions, and identify possible routes forward.

While a independent Management consultant our founder was also a Fellow of the IIB — a network of more than 5,000 global consultants — our founder is entitled to use the post-nominal letters FInstIB. Fellowship is awarded by peers in recognition of a deep understanding of all aspects of business, together with a proven track record of helping companies and fellow IIB associates solve complex challenges.
Although the IIB has naturally diminished as many consultants have retired, he remains proud to use the designation, knowing it was awarded through the respect and recognition of his fellow consultants.

Steve has provided our various sites with invaluable free guidance and support. From contract management and supplier negotiation to aiding with business infrastructure changes and planned upgrades, Steve has always been on hand to advise (along with regular troubleshooting for good measure!).
